The Three Summits of Mt Rainier
Looking southwest from the summit we see Point Success (14158 ft), another remnant of Rainier's original cone, in the middle distance at the edge of the summit dome. The footsteps at left lead to the Kautz Glacier, a popular climbing route on the south side of Rainier. Far in the distance lies the shattered ash-covered crater of Mount Saint Helens.
