The snow on the Roman Wall was the best of the descent, just softening into corn. Lower down the snow got mushier, although it remained quite skiable throughout the run since high clouds were now obscuring the sun. Here Alex is skiing near 8000 ft, with the Deming Glacier (which seamlessly abuts the west edge of the Easton Glacier) visible below.
