We skied up to about 6800 ft, scouting the route we would follow the next morning. At the edge of the snowfield where it joins the Easton Glacier, Alex decided a few hijinks were in order before we skied back down the soft late afternoon snow. Our route the next day would follow a line just above Alex's right knee (left in photo) to the highest visible snow (the Roman Wall), which is at the edge of the summit dome. The high point on the right skyline is the subsidiary summit called Sherman Peak.
